Question about Avaya 5610 IP Phone

We have an avaya ip office 5610 phone system. voice mail message was recd approximately 1130pm 01 august. message was deleted sometime in the morning hours of 02august. is there any way to recover/undelete this message.

If you have Voicemai pro, yes, there might still be a .wav file in teh users folder.

If embedded voicemail, nope.

Depending on which voice mail:
If you are using embedded mail then check connectivity with the line provider or upgrade system.
If you are using voicemail pro on a PC then check network traffic or connect PC directly to the IPO

How long are they speaking before it cuts them off?
is it 180 seconds? That is the default for IP office, but you did not state which system this phone is plugged into...

Hello I have question regarding Avaya phone (red light on the top of the device) Why some users have that light on and some of them they do not?


When you get a new voice message the red light turns on. As long as you don't check the voice message the red light stays on.

Paging problem with an Avaya 5610 IP


Are the phones local where the phone system is? Are the phones in the same paging group that the 5410's are in?

How to configure Avaya's IP Phone 5610?


What IP did you give the phone? When it says discover, its looking for the call server, which it is not finding.

Which system is this on? If IP office, you may need to build an IP route in the system for that subnet.

Cant get Voice mails


Try to delete all the messages then try adding a voice mail dialing from another extension then you will recieve the messages.

I would verify what the firrmware is of the phone. It is possible that the phones need to be upgraded.
