I also have the same problem, a kind of grinding / rattling noise on fast spin, does not happen when machine is empty, bearings changed last year, checked springs on top of machine and these are ok.

Hotpoint wm64 does not spin dry

Remove the top cover of washer and check the brushes in the motor, replace them if less than 3-5 mill left.
If brushes o/k then make sure belt is on, and make sure it is draining o/k.

Hotpoint aquarius wm64 loud banging noise when spinning with full load no noise when spinning empty i have found small pieces of plastic inside drum

Several possibilities here.
First and fore most is the drum support or main drum bearigs are failing., more likely to be drum support
The pieces of plastic you refer to are from inside the outer drum, because what is happening is the inner drum is catching the outer drum, and breaking the plastic inside.
You are going to have to strip it down to determine the exact cause, what I expect you will find is that the alloy 3 legged drom support has corroded away,a nd the drum has come loose.

Hope this helps you solve your problem

Very noisey on spin cycle

Almost certainly the main drum bearings have failed.

Hotpoint WM64 keeps fusing and cutting out

it's possible that one of the carbon brushes have worn down to the bottom and it is sparking on the motor causing it to trip the fuse. It's just one possibility. Have you checked the carbon brushes are connected properly and that they have not 1) worn down and 2) that the wires are connected to them correctly.

How to replace drum bearing for hotpoint aquarius+ wf740

My machine is just over 3 years old and although there is no play in the rear drum bearing it is very noisey on spin.
It gets progessively loud the faster the spin speed.

Hotpoint WM64 doesnt seem to be taking in enough water

Close your faucet valve & unscrew your hoses to check screens on hoses & machine. Clean out well. Refit, check for leaks. Water shd be in good pressure. If this is not the problem change your inlet valve, it is easily done. Suggestion: use powders for front loaders.
