I do not have an answer for replacing the supply line, but You could potentially have a backed up supply line for either the water or ice maker lines on your fridge from the start device. On some models of refridgerator for maytag and whirlpool, these have been recalled. If your appliance was manufactured in the last 5-10 years you may be having an issue with this component. Mine recently caught on fire at this device that is located near the compressor. If you would like to be a part of the petition for a recall on this appliance contact me at [email protected]
Most likely cracked internal hoses that spatter when the unit runs. Easy to fix. The tub and other parts rarely crack if ever. They are molded hoses and easy to get replacements. If they ask too much you can get a substitute (non-molded) at auto parts stores.
in the freezer section there is drain hole and you can see it if you take the back wall of the freezer (the inside wall) and you might just need to clean it all the way to the compressor drain pan.
Most likely you have a problem with the defrost cycle, Find the timer and advance it unil it clicks. Then observe the freezer compart it should start melting the ice from the coils behind th back wall in a few seconds. if you cant see it you should be able to hear the crackling of ice if the door is open.
HI .did you pull the fridge, away from the wall, and clean out the drain tube ,at the back. if not pull fridge away from wall, find the drain tube, and clean. thanks the appliance doc
