I'm thinking it might be the video or graphics card on my desk top ive tried several different monitors and nothing no error message no windows logo all the ports and cables are fine nothings broken

if it has a separate monitor connection on the mother board at the back, pull the graphic card and connect to the monitor to that connection
If it is a graphic card , the mother board card will run the monitor so replace the graphic card
if you do not have a plug in graphic card and that is how you have it set up take it in for a proper diagnosis as it may be the mother board is failing

I have a hp w2207 flat screen monitor. when turning power on, power blue light blinking and no picture. what can I check or look for to find and fix the problem?

That blue blinking light could be the fact that there is not a signal from the PC to the monitor itself. You could have lost your video card, corrupt driver for video card or monitor. If you have a PC with separate video card and a mother board video output, try switching to the one you are not using and rebooting the PC

Nvidia geforce g210

1.5.1 Graphics Subsystem
The board contains two separate, mutually exclusive graphics options. Either the integrated
graphics processor (contained within the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Northbridge) is used, or a PCI
Express x16 add-in card can be used. When a PCI Express x16 add-in card is installed, the ATI
Radeon Xpress 200 Northbridge graphics controller is disabled.

I have an HP S3000 Slimline computer with no graphics, the monitor is blank, no beeps and the power light on the monitor is yellow. I checked voltage going to some of the hardware and it is 10.5 volts and...

is the monitor ligt blinking or solid light if the monitor light is blinking remove the covers then remove the memory card and clean them with a clean cloth and insert in the dimmi socket and switch on the monitor light will be steady and still you have problem replace the memory and also look for the graphics section mostly the graphics is embedded to the mother board if you are having pci express slot or agp slot you can insert a graphics card and check if you have graphics that mens the embedded graphics section in *********** board is fried you can take the mother board to to a chiplevel service person for repair or you can use the add on graphics card

Not gettin any signal from cpu

When the monitor shows no signal it means either the data cable going from the monitor to the computer or the computers graphics card needs to be replaced.

AMD Motherboard with, on board video card has voltage short no video available on monitor. I would like to disable and add a AGP card.

When the Computer is off install the AGP card and put it together next start the computer when it starts up hit Del key before it boots up go into bios go to devices and disable onboard video, then hit F10 say yes to save changes and reboot it will then detect the card and will ask for drivers for the card. Be sure you read the directions for the video card You may have to install the drivers first, since you did not mention the card brand names and what mother board you have. Asus has many mother boards.

No monitor signal

have you tried checking the monitor to another computer? it could be the monitor?
if not, could be the graphics/video card, or even the motherboard itself could be faulty!

Dell Monitor Not Working

well if the status of the LEd on the monitor is amber(orange) & the system is running on a on board video card & not a Add-on video card... it is a possibility the the integrated video card ot the mother board might have gone bad... either contact a local tech or the tech support for the computer...

also unplug the monitor cable from the system tower & then if you see that there are the bars moving which say monitor self test on... means tht the problem is with the video card or the mother board...
since the system is running on a integrated video card...
