I just got this coffee pot. I brewed one pot and it worked great. Later, I cleaned it out, put in the water and coffee beans. When I plugged it in, it just beeps. No grinding, no brewing, just beeping. Anyone...help!!??

- I had the same problem two different times. The first time the lid wasn't completely closed. The second time everything seemed to be in place but beeping continued. I put water into the reservoir, but added no coffee beans. All other parts were in place. Pushed "on" button still beeped, so while still in the "on" position, I carefully opened the lid only slightly...beeping stopped and grinder started...I put lid down and coffee pot went thru the cycle and heated water.
