In my aol, when I try to open emails, a message says to go above the list and click on " your links are disabled for your safty. To activate click on "show images and enable links"help

This feature protects you from unwanted links to your mail. E-mail from strangers can contain unwanted connections to other web sites.

I usually keep this save guard where the links are disabled and enable for friends and official known to be save websites. You can enable for each specific e-mail as it is requested. The email will still open with links disabled and the link will be visible.

The following is from the AOL home page "options" that allows you to set the reading features. Reading
Tip: Click the new window icon to open messages in a new window. Enable reading pane to preview mail In full reading view, display the next message after moving or deleting the current one Hide images in mail from unknown senders Disable links in mail from unknown senders Always show full headers

Everytime i start my computer.. there is always a window on the upper left that says: setting up personalized settings,Configuring Microsoft Windows Mail 7 in Vista?that is why i have to again reinstall...

Windows Mail is part of the windows live essentials update pack. If you do not use the features of this pack the easiest solution is to remove this update and not show it again. If you do that the Windows Mail configuration should no longer appear. If you do use the features of Windows Live essentials then just configuring the mail correctly should stop it from trying to configure every time you boot.

To remove the update: go to control panel>add or remove programs> on the left side look for view installed updates> click then click windows live essentials and uninstall at the top

Hope this helps

Scree to wide to read mail etc just happened

I think you have mistakenly adjusted your display adapter.

To resolve the problem; go to you "control panel", if your computer is running windows xp, click display but if it ia running windows vista, click personalize.

After clicking display, you will see display properties, click settings, then you will see "screen resolution, do some adjustment by increasing or decreasing as the case may be, you will see the effect take place.

The same also goes if your computer is running windows vista.

Best wishes.

A user's mail in his inbox keeps deleting after opened.

Most likely it isn't deleting, it just is hidden in the view you are looking at. In the top right corner of the inbox is the option to View unread only, click on that and change it to view all and you should be able to see the emails.

Click on the View menu, then
Reading Pane

and then choose from:

Right
Bottom
Off

Oh No! you are not able to view the entire right column (from, date, subj, size, file attach, tag, etc. Hmm!

Click on the View menu, then
Current View, then
Customize Current View..., and then click
Reset Current View

Hopefully now you will be able to view the whole right column.

Chat and text feature in my classic view

I see the What's New section advertising that feature. It says to look above your personal folders in Mail Classic and you'll see the chat module. I think they must've made a typo, because I only get the chat module above my personal folders in "New" Yahoo Mail (see screenshot). Do you actually have the chat features above your personal folders in Mail Classic?

I am not sure what email software you use, with outlook and mail programs like it, the view menu likely has your answer

In the email program click

View -> Current View -> Message with autopreview

Outlook 2007 Junk E-mail

Highlight the Junk E-Mail folder in your Personal Folders; right click and select "Remove from Favorite Folders". You've undoubtedly accidentally selected "Add to Favorite Folders" when highlighting Junk E-Mail. They should no longer appear in your Favorites Folder.
