Can I modify this mike to a regular condenser mike?

The regular headsets are very temperamental mate, if you play online alot then would advise getting a turtle beach headset they're awesome

For regular vehicles 80/90 weight is appropriate w 4 ounces of friction modifier. For commercial. police or taxi, use 75w140 w friction modifier. You will need 3.75 pints to fill to max

These are a condenser mic which requires a very high impedance FET amplifier right near the condenser part. Most wired condenser mics use Phantom powering of the internal amplifier AND balanced line driver.

I would NOT recommend you try modify this unit for wired operation.

Incidently Phantom powering is usually at least 9 volts.

This is a single condenser cardioid pattern mike, it picks sounds only from the front - maybe all you have to turn it in the right direction Have you checked the mike in another place? If it's the same then the condenser inside is misaligned - if it's out of warranty open it and replace correctly the condenser mike.

3. Do not attempt to diagnose any electrical problem unless you have been properly trained and/or are licensed.
4. Do not immediately assume that if your air conditioner is not working that the thermostat is at fault. Tampering with the thermostat
or is related wiring can cause more problems than you initially started with. If nothing is happening with the thermostat set,
mmediately call for service.
5. Do not bend the "fins" on the outside of the condenser. Make certain to wash the coils in an "up/down" fashion.

what kind of mike are you plugging in?. Some cams will use crystal mikes...some use dynamic....some use a mike with a pre-amp built into the mike.(condenser mike) Also you must match or at least come close to the impedance required by the camera.The hv30 requires a condenser microphone. Check with radio shack or some electronic store.

This "talkback" feature may be due to someone having modified the radio by adding a small resistor between the speaker circuit & circuit ground.Another cause could be the shield lead in the mike plug shorting to the plug itself.

PRA-H7A is a super-cardioid back electret condenser microphone, therefore turn on the PHANTOM POWER before you try to use it again.

that happened to my xbox that was moddified and i couldnt do anything so i bought a new one
