Question about Alcatel Newbridge MainStreet 3600 Multiplexer
We have large network of alcatel 3600 carry over SDH. in near future, we will move to IP network to carry voice and data. 3600 is good product carry tel and low rate data for RTU site (small sites), we would like to keep it instead of replace it with IP mux.
Does Alcatel produce interface of ethernet to replace E1 card or do you have solution that we could carry DACS 3600 over IP data network using ethernet interface.
Alcatel-Lucent do have TDM over IP modems…they are called the FLIP modems..+- $2800. RAD also van some good modems which is relative cheap.

You can use some external TDMoverIP box to carry the E1's over an IP network
