Try cleaning the temporary internet files in your system. You can view the files by typing %TEMP% in the run window. Delete all the files in that folder. I dont know whether you are suffering with shortage of space in your HDD or in pen drive. For pen drive, go for a complete format rather than quick format. This will give some additional space by clearing the pen drive completely. For HDD, Try disc cleanup. You can do that by right clicking on that particular drive letter and in the general tab, you will see something called disc cleanup which will cleanup all the cookies and temporary files and unwanted files to give some additional space to that drive.

Don't know what I did differently because I tried this before and it did not work. This time it seems to be working. Thanks
I have the Sandisk working again. I have no HDD memory problems. I have 427GB free of 465GB. I clear internet temp info often. Thanks all for your help
