You didn't say if the compressor is running or not. If it is and all other things you stated are running then it has a sealed system problem. The sealed system comes with a 5 yr warranty in most cases (check owners manual). If the compressor is not running then listen for a click at the compressor. If you hear the click then I would replace the relay on the compressor. If you need further help I will need the complete model # off the sticker inside the fridge section.

SOURCE: Fridge problem
Hi. The most common failure for this make refrigerator is a bad evaporator fan motor. You should feel air coming out of the diffuser in your freezer. If not, either the fan motor is bad or you have alot of frost build up on the evaporator. You would see alot of frost on the back wall of the freezer where the evaporator coil is located. If this is the case, most likely the defrost bimetal thermostat. But if no frost, the evaporator fan motor is most common and likely to be your problem. Visit me on Ebay username: themackshack. Good luck! Mack

Hi, With the information you supplied i'm going to assume there is an ice build up at the rear of the freezer. Your problem is going to be with your defrost system. I will also assume you have the ability to repair this yourself. This is going to be one of three problems with your refridgerator, 1st thing to do is remove shelfs and panel in the back of the freezer...you should see ice build up on the evaporator...don't worry get a hair dryer and melt the ice. Next locate the wires for the heater...using a multi meter test the heater for condinuity...if the heater is bad replace it, If the heater is good replace the defrost thermostat..the stat normally is a barrel looking part clipped onto the evaporator pipe. The last possible problem could be the evaporator fan, have you heard the fan running in the past few hours?..if you are not sure pull the panel out to where you can see fan and watch it over an hour to see if it turns. I have included links with pictures of what the parts you need to check are: http://romulusappliance.com/manufacturers/maytag/refrigerators/575432.JPG defrost stat http://www.hotekalliance.com/UploadFiles/2008627111553382.jpg heaters http://www.applianceblog.com/archives/EvapMotor1018185.jpg evap fan. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment again. If you decide to get a repair guy in should not cost you any more then $120 - $200 depending on make/model/problem Good luck & thanks for using fixya! On these units there is a defrost heater which comes on after about 12/14 hours running time depending on usage. It would cut in for about 15 mins just to get rid of ice accumulated around the Evaporator. This heater or the timer has failed and ice has got between the duct. supplying cold air to the fridge unit. The best thing to do is to defrost unit for 24 hours and then try it and see if you can feel cold air coming up into the fridge. The repair for this is not that successful and you would be better off defrosting unit like a normal fridge/freezer.
Hope this was a help.
