Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop
I'm trying to run an old CD (I believe a 16-bit application) and got the above Windows error message.
I tried to change the buffers/files to 80 but it doesn't seem to help.
What should I do?
p.s OS is WinXP Pro, version 2002, SP1
[ Sys info: Windows NT 5.1 build: 2600 ]
Right click on the icon you use to launch the application, goto properties and select the compatibility tab. The options available here should help you run much older software.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
