Please rate my answer as a thumbs up 1 to 4 please,im disabled myself & do this cause i care not for profit. If the batteries are [AGM or GEL] you could have ruined them by letting them run down.Start again with the charging & follow the guidelines as to charging.& go from there, have the batteries tested,if they are ok,ur mobile again. Also you could visit:www.alldatasheet.com & download as a PDF File the info on your product, you can keep in Adobe Reader or Print for future.I have an electric scooter myself & the charging of the batteries is really important,if i just go 1/4 mile i will put them on charge.i have a trickle charger, mine can be left on for 3 months if im right. But IF BATTERIES ARE NOT USED WHEN FULLY CHARGED,BEST TO DISCONNECT THEM,SO THEY KEEP THEIR FULL CHARGE.HOPE I WAS OF HELP COLIN.

Phantom battery won't charge

Hello

Are you sure your battery charger is working correctly. Have you tried it on another battery? Possibly, there is a wiring problem, or your battery is the type that needs distilled water - Try another known good and charged battery with your scooter before purchasing a new one to ensure that the wiring is not faulty.

My dad's pride celebrity scooter has new batteries. the status led flashes once, pauses, and then flashes twice and then repeats. it was not used for several months, but was operating fine the last...

Hi. The batteries for these things seem to go bad rather quickly when they are not used, but here is something to try..... So called "smart chargers" are what everything is going to. They analyze the condition of the battery and if everything is good, charge it. If everything is not good, according to the parameters of that charger, they don't. My suggestion is to take the battery out of the unit and try an old-fashioned analog battery charger for a little while, set to the proper voltage for the battery, of course, and monitored closely to measure the effects. If the batteries seem to take a charge, put them back in and run it a bit, then try the on-board charger again, just don't wait until the batteries are completely drained this time.

My aunt recently bought a secondhand scooter shoprider us pat no 4798255 without a users manual and the scooter will not charge please could you help?

Kathryn Was the scooter working when she bought it? If the batteries were fully charged and now it won't charge then I would suspect the charger. If the scooter wasn't charged when she got it and won't charge then I would replace the batteries Hope this helps

Can't charge battery

At a minimum your batteries need to be charged for 12 hrs a day for the first month if not they will not build the capacity and will dwindle and die for example it is at only 25% capacity it says it fully charged but will die quickly this happens because it is charged to its full capacity but that is only 25% of the batteries true potential resulting in short battery life. The best thing to do is contact your dealer, as I think you won`t be able to charge the batteries on your scooter as they will have no power. Thething with scooters is to put it on charge when not in use.
