Question about Televison & Video
First of all please clean the laser lens to see if it solves your problem.
1) Purchase a CD/DVD laser lens cleaner disc,
and run it through the system 5-6 times. You could easily get the laser lens cleaner disc from walmart.
2) purchase a can of compressed air .Open the CD tray or remove the cover of the player by removing the screws located on the sides towards the bottom and on the back towards the top. Then spray the can at a distance 10"- 12" from the lens to blow the dust away.
The compressed air can is available at walmart, amazon etc.
3)You can also use isopropyl alcohol, and a cotton swab to gently wipe the laser eye.
If all these things doesn't work then it is the laser of the unit which is at fault .You have to replace the laser to get everything back to allright.
