How can i remove acer emachine netbook bios password?

Do you know the bios password???? If you do, you can go into the bios menu and make changes there by entering the password, and then just enter blank when asked for new password/and confirmation. If you don't know the password, what you need to do is reset the bios to oringinal default setting. In this step, you will need to take your netbook apart by unscrewing the screws on the back of the laptop and disembling the netbook. You will need to locate the cmos battery, in this case is about the size of a dime, or nickel. You will need to take this battery out for at least 15sec, and reinserting it back. Put your laptop back togheter and startup the netbook. It will prompt you of a fail cmos, and load default is loaded. You should be good to go.
