When opening for entries for 2010, I incorrectly entered January 1, 2011 as my new session date. How can I now change this back. It will not go back into the year 2010 when I ask to change session date. I am working with Simply Accounting 9.0 version

You would have to restore a backup that was made prior to advancing the session date too far.

I need to set date and time on the 6110 all in one printer

First of all, here is the direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/bpd09762.pdf

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents. You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, and then just follow the onscreen instructions to install it.

See page 37 of the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for detailed instructions on how to SET THE DATE AND TIME.

Basically it reads as follows:

Press MENU.
Press 5.
Press 1.
Then enter the last 2 digits only of the MONTH, DAY, and YEAR using the keypad.
Then enter the HOUR and MINUTES.
Then press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.
Then press 1 for OK if required.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.

HOW TO SET DATE & TIME

To open the USER SETTINGS MENU. Open all three of the One-touch speed dialing panels. Then press the button labeled "Data Registration".

Press the "SET" button 2 times until you see: USER SETTINGS - 1. DATE & TIME.

To open the DATE & TIME Menu. Press SET. Use the buttons on the numeric keypad to enter the current month, day, year and current time. Just enter the new numbers over the old numbers.

To set the year, enter 08, 09, etc.

Use the 24-hours format to enter the time (e.g. 1:00 p.m. would be entered as 13:00)

You can also use the cursor buttons to move the cursor without changing a number entry.

To restore previous entry, press CLEAR. Press SET to "lock in" the Date and Time.

These instructions come directly from the User's Manual.

Hope this helps.

How do you set the date on a Victor 1560-6 Calculator. I held down the date button on the unit and the number is flashing. I entered 08232010 for Aug 23rd, 2010 and I am not sure of the sequence to lock...

Immediately after entering the year part of the date, the display should revert back to a blinking first digit (in this case, the 0 to the left of the 8) while retianing all the following digits just entered. Simply press the Time/Date key again to lock in that date and stop the blinking. The same process applies for the time.
To clear the display of the time/date when using the calculator to actually compute something, press the C or CE button. This will result in a 0 appearing on the display. The unit is now ready for data entry.
