Question about Video Game Consoles & Games

Driver Disc Hey there. I really hope someone can help me out with this, please. I have the sidewinder game voice, but a recent re-install of XP brought to light that i've lost my driver disc that came with it. I know that this product isn't supported by Microsoft anymore, so they don't have any drivers and game voice share doesn't come with them, or the voice recognition software that I use in games to change weapons, launch countermeasures etc. Does anyone have, or know where I can get my hands on a copy of the original disc, that came with the product, or are there any other drivers I can use to make the product work work with other voice recognition software? Thanks in advance, muppetdriller

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Sidewinder 3d pro plus

try this

Go into Control Panel
Click Switch to Classic View
Double click on Game Controller
Click Add
Find Microsoft Sidewinder (Auto Detect)
Click OK

Also the switch at the bottom on the "single dot" - can't remember if it means digital or analog (seems to remember somewhere someone says it only works in analog mode?! not sure though)

Microsoft's Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro Driver

Sorry to report that there is no driver for this stick that will allow the feedback to work with Win XP. I wanted to cry when I first found this out. I've been searching since the mid 90's for a work around for this. We can send a man to the moon and back on less than 1 meg of ram. But someone can not get this stick to work properly with Win XP?

That REALLY SUCKS!!!
