SOURCE: System Code Error 87

Sounds like the application you are running may not be compatible with Windows 98. Probably can't do much as Windows 98 is so old.

Although it may be a missing file, DLL, or driver on your Windows 98 system, hard to tell.

SOURCE: Failed to calculate hash for 'c:\Program

Basically the McAfee self-test has failed - you either have a corrupted file or are infected by some form of malware or virus.

1) Download Avast!
2) Download Adaware
3) Download HiJackThis
If you do not have them
4) Disconnect from the Internet
5) Install all programmes in this order HiJackThis, Adaware, Avast! and Run each immediately after they have been installed
6) If you wish to continue running McAfee then uninstall it
7) Reboot computer
8) Install McAfee
9) As you should not have two Anti-Virus Programmes running uninstall Avast! - Although I believe Avast! to be a better product
10) Reboot Computer
11) Reconnect to Internet

That should be you go to go

If this helped you, then please help me and vote, thank you

How to rip DVD and convert video between any video formats?

Read this guide and learn how to rip a DVD to all modern video formats and convert video between any video formats, including AVI, DivX, XviD (*.avi, *.divx, *.div), MPEG-4, H.264 (*.mp4, *.m4v), MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (*.mpeg, *.mpg), DVD (*.ifo, *.vob), Quick Time (*.mov, *.qt), WMV, WMV-HD (*.wmv, *.asf), 3GPP, H.263 (*.3gp, *.3g2, *.3gpp, *.3gp2), Real Video (*.rm, *.rmvb), SWF (*.swf) using AVS Video Converter from AVS Video Tools.

This program has a very simple and intuitive interface. The "learning curve" is near zero. You will start working from the first launch. All you do is enter in the video or DVD to be converted, where you want it to be stored and the location of your CD/DVD Burner or Portable Media Device and the software does the rest. Just follow step by step instructions below:

Step1. Download AVS Video Converter
For more features about it, you can refer here.

Step2. Launch AVS Video Converter
Start > All Programs > AVS Media > AVS Video Tools > AVS Video Converter

Step3. Select Output File Type
Click the To AVI or To DVD or To MP4 or To 3GP or To MOV or To WMV or To RM or To SWF button along the top of the interface.
avs-video-tools-2.png
Step4. Choose Video File or DVD
Click the uppermost Browse button on the right. Navigate to the location where you keep your video files or DVDs, and select the video that you would like to convert. Click Open.
Note: When your input is a DVD Disc, you will need to select the path to your source file: X://Video_TS/Video_TS.IFO. "X" stands for your DVD-ROM or the hard disk drive folder where your DVD is stored.
It is important to select the IFO file, rather than VOB or VRO file, because the IFO file contains the information about the entire DVD structure and this way you will avoid audio and video de-synch problems when converting. Also, most DVDs have several VOB or VRO files (files with actual video) and if you convert VOBs or VROs instead of IFO, you will have to merge them afterwards, which is not the case with the IFO files.Anyway if you have only VRO or VOB files, select them. AVS Video Converter converts these files perfectly too.

Step5. Select the Output Location
Click the bottom Browse button on the right. Choose the location where you would like to save your converted video file. Click Save.
avs-video-tools-4.png
Step6. Select the Output Format Profile
In the list of Profiles select one of the available profiles or click Edit Profile button to manually set the output video profile parameters.
avs-video-tools-5.png
Step7. Convert Video
Click Convert Now and step away from the computer (processor performance will be seriously affected during conversion). If you want to watch the progress while you convert, click the Advanced button until the viewing screen pops out of the bottom.
avs-video-tools-6.png Besides this you can also refer to other tools such as blu ray ripper to get more information

Or you can visit dvd burning software to find some useful information about how to burn dvd to your pc.

I do hope these resources can help you. good luck to you!
