Question about Goodman CKL60AR60 Air Conditioner
R22 boils and flashes from liquid to vapor inside the evaporator coil. This change of state happens at around 40 degrees. Any heat that is gained in the refrigerant from that point of 40 degrees is called SUPER HEAT!!!!! You want at least 10 degrees and not much more then 15 degrees by the time the refrigerant in its vapor state reaches the inlet line at the compressor! This translates to around 50 to 55 degrees as it enters the compressor. This temp relationship can be related directly to a corresponding pressure with a known refrigerant and a T/P Chart!

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. If you are talking about r-22 with an outside temperature of 75-80 degress farenheit it should be running between 62-68 on the low side and 200-225 on the high side but there are varibles to take into account like the air flow across the inside coil or a dirty evaporater just things to take into account these pressures are approximate if there are close it should be fine.
