Question about Acer Aspire 1640Z Notebook
It is possible that you have an hardware fault that is possible in the failure of the display drive. This problem can a serious one as the service may require experience. But you can get a quote from an acer service centre to confirm if the cost is within your limit.Sometimes the connecting link wire could have ruptured and cut the connection to the display as it goes through the hinges. If this can be identified you are lucky as the harness can be chacked and changed. However we have a confirmation that the PC is working fine and so generally the problem area can be the cord itself. So check this out. Good day
