You can get it from the Labtec website. Make sure you get the correct version, should be able to match it by model #.

Why is my computer so slow??? It is only 2 years old

One of the most common reasons for a slow computer are programs running in the background. Remove or disable any TSRs and startup programs that automatically start each time the computer boots. Tip: To see what programs are running in the background and how much memory and CPU they are using, open Task Manager.12 Jul 2017

Gateway GT5657E hard drive

Plug your new drive into the bay and secure the covers. Place the power adapter in the power socket. Press power and set boot sequence to boot from DVD drive. Insert your OS boot disc and load your OS to the new hdd. The new hdd needs to be intialised using the menu options. When your OS is installed, download all drivers from gateways web site or features will not work correctly.

My Asus F9e doesnt start anymore. Not even in Secure Mode. What should i do ?

Did you get any error messages? Since the BIOS is available, the problem is likely with the hard drive or it's trying to boot from non-bootable media (DVD, flash drive, USB connected floppy/hard drive). Since you can access the BIOS, look for the Boot Selection Order and make sure that the hard drive is first in the list. If the BIOS doesn't see the hard drive, it may be bad or have a bad power or data connection. (You can try opening the computer and reseating the cables - see Asus for any assistance. I am not informed on opening the F9e.)
If the hard drive is seen by the BIOS:
Disconnect any USB devices (and the optical disc if it is in the drive). Turn off the computer. Unplug the notebook from the power supply and remove the battery. Wait 10+ seconds (or a few minutes) then reconnect the battery and then the power brick. Try restarting the computer. (This is a hard reset.)

What do you see on the computer screen? If you see a blinking cursor, the computer doesn't have the boot manager available (either corrupted or a new disc that hasn't had the OS installed). Use a Windows install/upgrade disc/system repair disc for your OS version (the service pack must match) or a third-party disc management tool to attempt to repair the boot manager.

You will need the optical drive as the first boot device in the BIOS or press Esc to access boot order list. (On some computers, it's F12.) For Vista or Win7, boot from the CD and follow the on-screen directions until you see a list of choices. If the hard drive was previously working, click on Repair your computer. Select the OS to repair then click Next. Select the Command Prompt option. Type in bootrec /ScanOs to get a list of available Windows OS versions on the hard drive. Use the command bootrec /FixBoot to fix the master boot record. The command bootrec /RebuildBcd will rebuild the list of Windows OS versions. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 for details.

Installing a new hard drive and reinstalling the OS may be needed if you have a SMART or AHCI/SATA hard drive error. If you have a back up image, you may be able to restore that image.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with any error messages for more assistance.

NTLDR missing on XP desktop

NTLDR is the boot loader for windows XP. This is the part the kick starts the entire process of XP loading. It is located at C:\NTLDR One of the easier ways to fix this is Either boot in to the recover console from a Windows XP disc, or download Hiren Boot CD, burn it to a disc. Insert the CD into your Dell and reboot the computer. Note you may need to enter BIOS and enable boot to CD/DVD. Once at the Hiren menu, select Boot Mini XP. Once the Mini XP loads you can copy NTLDR loader from the mini xp to your C:\ drive. Then remove the disc and reboot the computer.

I dont know how to set boot option?

Normally you want to boot from the CD/DvD drive 1st then the Hard Drive 2nd. This is the best way because if the hard drive ever goes bad you can put a operating system disc or repair disc into the drive and boot from it.

Just be careful that when you boot the computer you don't have a music cd or movie dvd in the drive otherwise you might get an error messages saying unbootable device.

Computer cannot find external drive

This sounds like it might of formatted the hard drive aswel and now needs partitioning.

Go to control panel then system tools then computer management.

on the left click disc management and see if it shows in this.

if it dont then you need to take the hard drive out of the case, and plug it into the computer inside via the sata cable and partion it in the boot options.

hope this helps
