My Memorex DVD player is stuck on PScan. Right now the picture shows twice on the same screen. One half of the screen shows the same picture as the second half of the screen. The words PScan is in black sitting right in a yellow shape in the middle of the whole screen. I just want one picture to show up on the television screen. Can you please help me straighten this out?

Most DVD players has a P-Scan on/off button in the remote control. On the other hand, Memorex in some of its models have the P Scan switch at the rear of the unit. It is a slide switch.

The first thing that you must do is make sure that the device is already installed to your computer. Insert the document to be scanned on the scanner. If it is then, that is a fake hard drive analysis and optimization program so you need to remove it from your computer. by following these steps: If you're not familiar in dealing with the registry, please install malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Manual Removal: 1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del on keyboard to stop process associated to "Windows Scan". When Windows Task Manager opens, go to Processes Tab and find and end the following process: (random characters).exe
2. You need to update your installed antivirus application to have the latest database. 3. Thoroughly scan the computer and any detected threats must be removed. If removal is prohibited, it is best to quarantine the infected item. Manually locating and deleting of malicious files should also be performed. Try to turn off unit and remove battery pack, then reinstall it after 10 mins and while its off press scan button for 5 seconds and turn it back on. it should automatically go to scan mode on WX
I believe you must select a different application to use for the Scan. Click the cancel From the ALL-IN-ONE center scanning and copying tab, choose a different application from the "SEND SCANNED IMAGE TO" menu.
ok...can you scan from the front panel controls, at all? Is this a computer manager fault? Let's isolate this, shall we? you should be able to scan from buttons on front, by placing a doc on the glass, and pressing scan..
