Question about Skil Power Tools Routers Fixed Base
I would wonder if you may need to lubricate it, or possibly some penetrating oil used. I wouldn't wonder if perhaps it has lost lubrication over the years?
If the lift mechanism is electrical, i would wonder if that hasn't failed from being in storage for all that time. if it were me I would take the unit, in to a Skil service center and an get it overhauled. If only for safety reasons.
