Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How does one forward incomming calls on a uniden 2.4ghz cordless phone?

Cordless phones can not 'forward' a call to an outside line.
Forwarding must be controlled by the ATT, Verizon, or landline provider.
Please contact your provider to determine if you have call forwarding feature built into your service package.

Then, follow the instructions of your landline phone provider.
Here is the instructions for Verizon:

Activating Call Forwarding
You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.

  1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

  2. Press star.gif7.gif2.gif.
In some areas you must use 7.gif2.gifpound.gif
Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

  3. When you hear the tone, set or change the Call Forwarding number by dialing the telephone number where you want your calls transferred.
You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.

  4. If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes.
You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.

  5. Hang up the receiver.

There seems to be no option to activate speed dial. I have read the user manual and would like to think I'm not this stupid. Also it seems that I can only have 5 ring tones AND I can only use them for the...

To get a form of speed dial and caller ID to work, ones must have all contacts entered into the phones storage AND sim storage. Order of contact entry is in direct relation to the "speed dial" numbers. Then on phones menu screen, hit DIAL, and then a 1-3 digit number followed by the # sign. Another screen will come up with contact name and phone number that resides at the number you entered. There will be two pictures of phone receivers numbered 1&2. Push which ever one for the sims you have activated and your call will be made. It is almost just as easy to simply remember the number for the person who is so important to call so quickly. For caller ID-contacts in both phone and sim storage AND the number MUST BE ENTIRE #. This means area code, international code, etc. No solution for the lack of ringtones that can be USED at a time. Possibly if one can delete out set tones by accessing the phones engeneering or factory mode by entering in the required codes, the lame tones could be replaced by your desired ones. Wrong sim card problem with SE P910i, not P900 but pretty similar anyway

I don't have a solution, but my P910i did this immediately AFTER I did the firmware upgrade. The local repair shop refuses to look at it as the tag and internal IMEI numbers are different. I suspect it was repaired before and the tag not changed. I am still working on it and will let you know. But its xmas and Australia rolls up the sidewalks shuts off the streetlights and stops.
