I have a NEW, 5 days old razr v3 and have a problem getting sound while dialing, and my contact answers. I also have a problem with the hands free, it will go to hands free without my requesting it to. I have to reset the power (removing the power source) for this problem to be solved. is there anything that I can do, or do you think that exchanging would be a better idea

You'll need a new phone. RAZRs die a lot, and they start their final
journey this way - with smaller malfunctions that end up leading to
death. Move your contacts to the SIM card if you get the phone to
function again, and go get a new one soon. This one's on the way out.
If your RAZR is from the older ones, I strongly suggest you to replace it with an L7 (SLVR) or another model.
The old RAZR's had too many problems (Voice, Data, Bluetooth, etc.), that's why MOTOROLA quickly release the SLVR L7.
If it's a new model, definitely should take it to a dealer to replace your cell's microphone.
