go bak to 4 prong. why did u change it out? souns lik this isa 220 unit and not a 110? chk the book that came with the unit. lol.

I would guess venting may be restricted, remove vent tube and run dryer see if it turns off. I did find some information on a different site, here is the link, Good Luck Tim:

Does the timer move when it's almost ready to shut off if not most likely need a timer. Can you turn it by hand to finish the cycle and shut it off. If not must be timer.

I have looked at your dryer schematic. The only thing that moves the timer forward towards the end of cycle is the timer motor. You are going to need a new timer, looks like they have one for 54 bucks HERE

Sounds like the problem is in your timer contacts, in which case you would have to replace your timer. A no heat scenario on auto dry could also cause a dryer to run continuously.

jefo, it sounds to me like your timer is not advancing. Does it move at all or stay in place? In what you are saying it will stop when you turn it to off, I would think it could be the timer that is the problem. Part # 53-1810.
