Question about LG 32LC7D Television

My LG 32LC7d TV has a white screen with different colored verticle lines running through it, it wont respond to any buttons. Powers on and then right back off. What is wrong, can it be fixed?

You may have muiple problems, the vertical lines can be caused by bad T-CON board or LCD panel, buttons do not response can be caused by bad main logic board. In this case, you need to inspect the power supply module first since poorly filtered DC can cause a lot of strange symptoms.

You have a defective LCD panel. The only way to fix it is to replace the whole LCD panel. It is the most expensive part in the TV (usually $500-2500) depending the make, model, and size. It is also time consuming as you need to take the whole TV apart in order to replace that part.

Static verticle lines on screen


wiis dont do that but many tvs do im sure its the tv not the wii so it wont matter

White lines running across screen from right to left


when there is a line from right to left it means a verticle amplifier is faulty, remedy
change a verticle amplifier IC
dont forget to check some capacitors (electrolitic for change of values)
this will solve your problem.

LG 50PC5D rigth screen colored lines 12''


LG 50PC5D-UL Plasma TV.... While playing XBox360 the screen just shrunk to the top 3" as though some one was holding a towel over the bottom portion of the screen. I have unplugged all inputs and the unit. I have let it cool down. Still it remains in this condition. I can't see the menu because it's in the portion of the screen that is "blacked out". you have a warranty! the set has a problem either with the panel or the main board take it back to the store where you bought it and exchange it or have it repaired by a factory authorized repair place.
