LP2844 Printing light

Click start on your computer, go to control panel-printers and faxes folder. Highlight your Zebra printer and select 'printing preferences'. You are looking for a place to turn up the heat settings "Head Settings" or "Heat Settings". These get reset down to the lowest setting when you continually open the cover without turning the printer off first....exposing the printhead to light.

Want to reset my Zebra 140XiIII back to factory settings?

I resolved the problem by going into the setup program and then exiting and at that point I was prompted to save my changes and one of the options was to load Default settings. Once I chose this I was able to print on the 4X6 labels correctly, before that the configuration was feeding a label and 1/2 and print across two labels.

Eltron P210i printhead replacement and aligment

Usually with Eltron and Zebra printers all you have to do is turn the power off, change the print head, turn the power back on and re run your software to get the forms to reload. If you miss any of these steps you will run into trouble.

As long as the labels didn't get moved, it should work once you restart your computer and re run the software you print your labels with.

Printing problem

Try to clean the light sensor inside the printer, you will see a white led on the top part of the case, match it to the bottom you will see a small hole on a plastic peice, that is the hole for the sensor.
