SOURCE: Motherboard resistors RV2 and RV3

RV1, RV2, and RV3 are capacitors. They're actually dark green in color because they're made primarily for automotive applications. If you remove one and measure it with a capacitance meter you can find the value. On a 600M/D600 I believe they're 150pF, but on other boards they may be 100pF. Digikey part numbers for them are 490-4962-1-ND for the 100pF, or 490-4767-1-ND for the 150pF. Good luck!

Why does the relay in my RCA TV click on then off when the power button is pressed? Isn't the 220v at the horizontal output too high when just plugged in ?

I don't have your previous question but rest assured that diodes do not reduce voltage
their soul purpose in electronics is to act as a one way valve for current flow
they flow from positive to negative but stop reverse current negative back to positive ( hence their application on a rectifier bank to change ac current into dc current)
Resistors drop voltage by dropping current flow

Model 27LCDB03B-simply appears to be "dead" won't power up-not the fuse

Hello Chris, Hi, your TV's power supply section is not functioning properly. If the fuse is in good shape, then the auxiliary power section of the power supply is not functioning, this section powers the switching oscillator and IC that sends the pulse to the switching element like power transistors to create a main secondary voltage. the main secondary voltage is the circuit that produces all voltage needed source by the TV. what you can do if you are up to it.
A. Visualize any bulging capacitors, replace them. B. Measure the voltage across the following section in particular order so we can find the faulty parts.
  1. the AC input on the Power supply board. (none means open switch or power cable)
  2. the AC after the line filter circuit. (none means open line filter)
  3. the DC on the filter capacitor. (none means problem on the rectifier)
  4. then the AC on the switching element or input on the main transformer. (most likely you won't have any voltage reading hear.)if you do have continue.... (none means you scratch your head, this is the hardest part) check all low value resistors, high wattage resistors open or shorted diodes.
  5. the dc on the secondary filter capacitors.
If not have this checked by a technician, its to complicated for you.

3-phase recty fier not output voltage 230V 10V

What is the type (input, output, power) of the rectifier.
If controllable - may be the control PCB or thyristor.
If not controllable - 10 V DC instead of 230 V DC is hardly believable.
In this case the rectifier may be OK, but the input - low.
If you have a voltmeter, check the input AC and the output DC if the output has about 200 V AC you may have shortened diode.

I have the Behringer 10watt amp used but it wont power on at all...

Please open the amplifier and check from the power supply to the output section. You will need a multimeter to check for the ac input , then the fuses, the switch continutiy and the output secondary section ac. Now the DC to the circuits, the rectifiers, the filter capacitors, fusible resistors. Once the power is coming over to the main board and to the output drive, the premap section needs a check . The fault will be around this section if the outputs are clean. hope this helps.Good day

I have a extech 380920 ac/dc clamp meter that is out of tolerance looking for a manual or schematic for it.

here is the web page for this unit. http://www.banulista.us/tools/Electrical-163105.html
it is adjustable and has adjusting screws to reset readings but you have to have a power supply that is accurate to test it with, to reset ohm values you may use a resistor from radio shack to measure resistance. get a 5 ohm resistor and a 10,000 ohm resister with a gold 5% band to test the unit. If you need help setting up the testing for amps and ac and DC voltages reply to this post and I will give you instructions on how to set the meter to read within .2 tolerance.

No Power

You should measure AC voltage from the output of the transformer to the bridge rectifier, and after the rectifier you should see a DC voltage (you may also read some "ripple" AC voltage on the DC side as well). Check across each battery to see how many volts DC they are receiving (as they will all be in series connection ie one after the other). Batteries are the usual problem with faulty UPS's. You may have a problem battery or multiple problem batteries and they may need replacing.
