I’m an owner of the FAV6800A LED flavor of the machine. I’m not a repair person just an owner with some basic knowledge and I’ll offer some thoughts.
Checking 120VAC power to the outlet is a good 1st step. You could have a tripped a breaker but you may have checked that already before posting. There is no in line fuse in the machine to open and cause loss of 120VAC to the machine Control Board or other 120VAC components.
I’m an electronics technician by craft skill training so my troubleshooting approach is technical.
This machine model like most machines has it’s design issues. One of which is the bleach dispenser proximity to electrical contacts and components (Left Hand Lid Lock and the TDS).
Take a read at this repair persons issue with a customers machine an FAV9800A your machine model….Maytag T/l NEPTUNE pulling info for troubleshooting with this person was difficult which prolonged troubleshooting from a distance. His symptom was no LCD display.
I suspect you could have a similar issue and replacing the Console LCD panel, Control Board TDS etc. did not restore machine operation. We had to get into some good old fashion troubleshooting. The problem turned out to be severe corrosion at the plug end of the TDS (Tub Displacement Sensor) sensor going back to the Control Board. The +12VDC power on the Control Board was being pulled down by this resistive corrosive path caused over time by the location of the bleach dispenser.
I’m not saying this is your issue just letting you know of a possible issue. If you are not a technical person maybe a relative or friend can help you. It might be hard for a repair tech to troubleshoot an issue such as this. The Control board and Console just for cost reference. I would not replace any components before proper troubleshooting was completed.
Here is the Service Manual for our machines FAV6800A and FAV9800A yours.
Here is a link to the schematic for your LCD version of the machine series 10 shows the LCD schematic. The schematics are all very similar. They are in .png format I have converted to PDF if you need just let me know.

F21 indicates a Long Drain error code. This indicates that you have an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system. In most cases, this means you probably have a clog in the drain pump. You may have something getting caught in the pump impeller and slowing it down. Or, you may have something clogging the drain lines. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.
If this solution doesn't solve your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. The error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.
Thank you !!
