Question about Toshiba Satellite L355D-S7809 Notebook
I have no sound coming from the internal speakers. They were working and then cut out in the middle of a song. I need help.
The most basic troubleshooting steps are to make sure you didn't
accidentally hit a mute button or reduce the volume. Also, use another application to make sure it's not an application specific problem with the sound.
If that doesn't work, and if the sound cut out mid-song, it is possible either the drivers stopped responding or there is some hardware problem with the speakers. The easiest way to rule out the first is to restart your computer and try again.
If none of the above resolve your issue, you may also want to attempt to update your sound drivers, you can do so either through Windows Update (may not always have the most recent drivers), or from Toshiba's website. I tried to locate the specific location, but according to the website, your model number has a few extra numbers to it (L355D-S7xxx):
