Is there any software that works to back up my wii games

1. go to the wii settings.
2. go to the last page.
3. chose "wii system memory format"
this should put the wii back to factory settings, and make the wii games work again.

What error number does the Wii give?
Anyway, you can troubleshoot a little to solve the problem:
Are you running the latest Wii firmware? (You can update system software somewhere in the options)
Is the Wii FIt disk an original and not a copy? If it's a copy, you'll need an original or homebrew software to run te game.
Have you tried cleaning the isk and the tray it needs to go in? (if possible?)

I had the same problem. I called wii support (1800-255-3700) and they gave me the solution. Some new games include a wii update that must be installed before the game will work. Insert the disk. When the wii menu comes up point the wii remote at the spinning disc and click A. Follow the instructions for installing the update. Your game will work once the update completes.

if you have upgraded your software on your wii, your freeloader won't work anymore. Mario carts is written in a way to stop people using programs such as freeloader. Its something called signed trucha, other people will not more. You could try buying a UK mario cart on ebay and trying that. Otherwise, looking into getting it mod chipped to overcome the region barriers. But always buy original games for it

after you enter the game, do the following: (must admit it took me some time to figure it out)
1. hit on home button on wii-mote to bring up wii menu
2. choose remote setting and setup the extra remote(s) you want to use in the game
3. now your extra remote(s) are recognized.
you can now go back to the game and choose multi-user mode
