Question about Electric Eyeware Chicago Electric Hd 14" Industrial Cutoff Saw

How do I change brushes in a cutoff saw? I am not sure exactly how the new brushes are inserted with the locking screws. Do U just insert brushes and compress spring with screw on plastic lock nut?

Yes. That's all there is to it. Just insert the new brush, making sure there are no pieces of the old brush still in the holder, compress the spring and install the plastic cap.

Can someone help me find a replacement table saw insert for model # 152.221140, part # OR91014

Sears is the place.

thanks for the inquiry and for using searspartsdirect.com.
the insert or91014 has changed to a new part of 27509.00, but will still be the equivalent of the original. the insert will just be the insert, none of the set screws or hardware come with it. if you have the original hardware and just need a replacement insert, you can use the originals with no issue.
hopefully this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. thanks for using searspartsdirect.com.

Why can't the screw be tightened?

First of all, the blade has to be seated correctly on the spindle and the screw hand tightened to hold it in place. Next, a locking device such as a screwdriver has to be inserted crosswise between two teeth to prevent the blade from rotating. With the blade locked, the screw can be tightened. Finally, be sure to remove the locking device before operating the saw.

How to put the blade into the black and decker 3.4 amp powered handsaw

#1) You have to locate the blade release button on the saw (see your manual). The opposite side of the release button is a screw-like OVAL shaped PIN. To insert the blade, the direction( or position) of this OVAL shaped PIN has to match the OVAL shaped hole in the blade. You could use a screw driver to change the direction/position of this OVAL shaped pin. You have to push down the release button when you use the screw driver to turn.

#2) Hold the blade in Vertical position in your right hand. The "Oval" hole is on top. The teeth is facing your left hand. You will see that the "oval" hole on the top of the blade is a "horizontal" oval.

#3) Hold the saw (handle) in your left hand as if you were going to saw using your left hand.
Now peek through the hole of the saw and find the direction of the OVAL PIN. It has to be a "horizontal" (or lied down) OVAL. If it is not, use the screw driver to adjust it.

#4) Hold the blade using your right hand. Oval hole on top, teeth facing your left hand. Insert
the blade from the bottom of the saw. What you needed to do is to insert the PIN into the hole
of the blade. When you inserted the pin into the hole of the blade, slowly turned the blade upward, the blade will lock by itself.

Husky thd750 wet saw changing blade

If this is the K750 cut off saw, then to change the blade you need to remove the 13mm fixing screw ( anti clockwise )if you cannot hold the old blade to remove the screw, insert a 6mm pin into the right hand belt cover, there is a hole to tale this, this will engage into the pulley and lock it, then remove the outer flange, the old disc will now come away, make sure the new disc has the same size centre as the old one, the size will be on the rating plate on the cutter guard.

Turn power nozzle bottom up.
Remove the 5 screws.
Insert tip of a standard screwdriver into each square hole on either side of the wheels and twist to release the tabs.
Holding the power nozzle together, turn it over.
Lift the back of the cover up, then remove it.
Remove the screws at the ends of the brush.
Lift out brush.
Remove belt and replace with new belt.
Place brush back into slots and replace screws.
Check belt to make sure it's settled correctly and check tautness. It should have some give, but not much.
Replace cover by inserting front lip into the slot at the front of the base. Carefully manipulate into place, ensuring the latches click into place.
Turn PN bottom up.
Replace screws.

How to remove the blade

If the saw doesn't have a locking blade button, you need to insert a ( most likely) 14mm thin wrench between the blade and the body of the saw, on the axle, to hold the axle. Unscrew the bolt of the axle and the blade is out. After you place a new one, the procedure is exactly the opposite. Keep the power cable unplugged during the entire time of the blade change. Safety first.
