We also have an Amana Heavy Duty washer that is at least 10 yrs old. I can't read the Model # completely because it has partially been scraped off. It looks like L3302W. The mfg # looks like 1118413ww. It appears to be leaking from the main seal. Our local appliance parts store guesstimated the cost of the 2 kits needed to repair it at about $125. They said it would take one of their repairman about 1 1/2 hrs to install them. Would it be logical to put this kind of money in to this old of a washer? Is there any instructions on how to install the parts necessary to remedy the problem? Would you recommend a front loading washer? If so, what brand and model? Thanks.
