Check the external speaker socket as the switch side of it could be dirty cutting the signal to the internal speaker. Also some CB radios do not work if the microphone is disconnected. Also check if you have a CB - PA switch. Make sure this is in CB mode. Hope this helps.

My boat has a kenwood krc-930 cassette receiver that has a electronic chassis lock ck-50A, I dont know how to disengage the chassis lock to remove the unit. How do you disengage the lock?

Hello

Ok, with the receiver, you should have had 2 steel keys that came in the box. This is the keys which you need to use to take out the unit.

Take out the face of the receiver and slide the 2 keys into the slots at the side. While the keys are engaged in the slots, gently pull out the receiver unit.

Hope this can steer you in the right direction. Let me know if i understood you incorrectly.

Kind regards
Andrea

The "Reset" button on Model# KRC-207S is located between the"ATT" (attenuator) and the "1" button. It is a tiny hole. Insert the end of a pen or pencil into the hole and hold for a few seconds and the unit will reset itself. Hope this helps...
