My h/p dc5800 has unwanted inserts.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery
Go there... Enter in your key code for your version of Windows. It will let you download an iso file for that version. Burn to a disk then boot to said disk. And there you go.

My phone keep on freezing

Hi,

Try clearing privacy data in browser to get a bit of ram back. If no good , do hard reset, you'll need to re-set up phone so back up first. Then type *#7370# and use passkey 12345 and phone will re-start and be like'out of the box' your memory card will not be affected.

If the problem continue, you should remove the memory card.

If the problem persist after this, try uninstalling those apps that you just added after you purchased your phone, restart, and then try to use it again as usual. It must be a program glitch or a software conflict.

If the problem persists, then you might got to go to the service center of nokia for reformatting or upgrade of firmware.

Good Luck

I have a packard bell imedia mc 1538 and need to resore to factory settings, have tried using F10 key with no result just goes to start up. The master cd just does a system restore and not the factory...

If the file that holds the factory settings is gone then there is no way to restore the factory settings back. You can however reinstall windows if you got a hold of a windows disc in the version you want. You can use the windows key on the computer somewhere to activate the windows. I would suggest doing a system restore the the last restore point and removing any unwanted things from there.

May be too many apps running in the background?
A factory reset will definitely help but do a backup before you reset.

I bought a used thinkpad a30p it has lot of stuff on it i do not want .i have no recovery disk. want to set it back to factory spec.....how

Your best bet would be to Uninstall any programs you do not want, using control panel, add / remove programs. Then create a new user with administration rights and delete all other users. Go to explorer and explore the hard drive folder tree and look for folders and files that are left behind. Without a restore disk it is best not to do much else. Even if your computer has a hidden drive with install files on it, you still need that disk to access them. There are free programs on the net to help clean unwanted un-needed files and registry items. Hope this helps.

My phone is creating replicating folders of the existing folder n i am unable to delete it please help me out

Hello,

The phone has contacted some virus that is why it is creating such folders. The virus might have been contacted from other phones, through file transfers via bluetooth and other means, file downloads from the internet or file transfers from laptops and pc.

The solution to the problem is for you to get the phone to a repairman and ask him to flash the phone for you, that will stop the phone from creating replicating folders.

You can as well restore the factory setting of your phone by going to the settings and selecting the
restore factory settings from the option. Then you enter the phones security code, after that it will wipe out all unwanted viruses and files created.

Take care and good luck

My nokia n95 wont send texts i can recieve then n make/recieve calls it says memory full close some applications and try again :s. ive restored back to factory settings.... help lol

Set you Message Storage Destination to Memory card and delete unwanted Smses or Bluetooth received files from the phone memory. To do this, Go to message settings and there's an option with "Default destination" or something like that, and set the Storage to Memory Card. You'll also need to close the programs that are running on the background. To do this press and hold the "Menu" key, and to close the particular program, press "C". Good luck Thanks for using FixYa.

Hello!

Connect your motorola to the computer and scan for viruses, maybe some virus on it. and delete some unwanted files in it. or else you need to reformat your motorola or reset it to factory setting.
