Question about Compaq A1500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I just have got my power cord replaced and my computer. My computer has just been in repair. My printer was working eversince i got my computer back. Now my printer wont print or scan anything. I have tried setting it to online and unpausing it but that wasnt wrong. I need help!!
Did you mean just the cord was repaired or did you get a new pc??? Many times, once a computer is unhooked and transported to be repaired, sensitive settings and drivers can be upset by the move. Sounds bizarre but i know it happens because it even happens to me. The other thing is did anything get done to the internals of your pc, or the software changed. This is really important too. ie, did the repairer have to change any settings in the pc, in windows or any where. Please post exact changes if any. If no settings were touched and it was just the cord, i suggest completely uninstalling the printer from the pc. If you do not know how to do this, post back. Once all traces are removed, reinstall it. Make sure printer is completely uninstalled and new installation is smoothe and no hiccups. Now connect back up correctly and turn on. Your pc should recognise new hardware and configure it for you and away you go.
