When you load your camera's dvd into your computer, it will come up as a dvd drive in Computers. Double click the folder to open it up, and copy the videos to a Folder on your desktop. Then you can play and edit the videos from programs on your computer. Good luck, and hope this helps. Not sure if movie maker will support the Sony format, but it probably will. If not there are free conversion programs out there, although some work, and some don't.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Mini-DVD playback

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0900000562/DC210NIM-EN.pdf here is the manual look on page 62 for playback on a pc. you need a dvdrom drive. if you have one make sure you have software like windows media player 10 or 11, or powerdvd to play the movie. as for editing the video is a little bit more tricky. you are going to have to "rip" the video and then combine it in a program like windows movie maker with the other dvd that has been ripped too. when you are done editing in windows movie maker just choose avi or dvd type.
