Question about Watches
Mcdevito75 here, The answer is no, Rolex watches do not operate with a battery. Most Rolex watches are Automatic winding with the motion of your wrist / arm. Of course if you leave your Rolex on the dresser for say 30 hours, it will run down, simply hold the watch in your hand and with a gentle rocking motion say from 6--to 12 O'Clock for about 30 seconds, this will give your automatic Rolex an initial wind up, from there you just wear the watch and it will continealy wind itself. You may also have the non automatic Rolex in which case you would have to wind it dailey. If your Rolex will not run at all no matter what you try, Check out the repair service directory here at fixya, bottom of the page click on repair service directory then watches.
