I don't think it will work that way, You might try hooking in through a dvd player or vhs player, if you have a select switch for all your stuff, you can use that, but try the dvd, hook up in the front, if they don't hook in the front, how about another front ? If you get one, turn on the unit, try playing the game, if the switch is used, clik the switch till it comes on the screen, that goes for any thing used, when playing the surround sound, I use the aux for sound, not for anything else, all the games and players are hooked up else where. Once you get the game running the aux will handle the sound through the surround, the switch is a crucial item here, very inexpensive, walmart type stuff, I couldn't run without it. Hope this helps.

Get a mp3 player adapter, it will have a headphone jack on one end and the red and white cables on the other end. Plug into the headphone jack on your computer, and plug the red and white jacks into the Aux input on the receiver. I didn't look at the link, but most receivers have a Aux input on them. That should solve your problem.

To listen to Tv program sound through your home theater system you will have to connect a pair of RCA to RCA cables (Red and White pair ) from the audio out socket of the TV ( some times three sockets Yellow/Red/White labeled Monitor out. Ignore the yellow as it is video out ) to the Aux or CBL/Sat input of the LG system. Then to listen to the sound through your LG HT system switch the Input selector of the LG to Aux or CBL/SAT. Will work for sure.

I have F&D home theatre i want to connect it to laptop

go to radio shack or walmart . get a cable that has an 1/8th inch stereo plug on one end and two (male) rca plugs on the other end.
make sure your volume is not all the way up on either the computer or the stereo.
plug the 1/8 inch plug into your "speaker or headphone" jack on the laptop.
plug the red and white (male) rca plugs into the auxilary or cd "IN" on the home theatre.
Power up the stereo, make your source on the home theatre the Auxilary or CD, whichever you used to plug the RCA's into.
now you should hear anything from the laptop through the home theatre.
Regards..
