Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
Hi. I suspect the solenoid valve could be the issue here (not opening). turn off your machine (unplug it) and open the control panel and remove the solenoid in question. you could try washing the solenoid valve out and opening it by applying power to it directly a few times. I have also used some electronic cleaning spray before to get these going. If you have a multimeter you can measure the coil of the solenoid (select ohms on your meter) to see if it has failed altogether, you should see a reading in ohms, if you dont, try selecting a higher range on your meter. check against another working solenoid to see if the value of resistance (ohms) is similar (ie check the reading of resistance on the hot water solenoid).
