Sounds like your float is stuck in the full position, or the sensor that shows full is stuck on full.
If tank is empty but shows full, problem lies where full signal is coming from.
I have the same vehicle and my car actually was full of gas, registered empty & left me on the side of the road..It was the sensor in the fuel line that had to be replaced.
Hello there, what has happened to your unit is simply a situation of corrupt filing or an incomplete firmware update installation. When this situations arise it is considerably difficult to fix as the unit mostly does not initialize to start up the installation process to enable you re-install the fresh firmware. This problem is generic with the D2 as a lot of people have encountered the same problem. Best situation is return it back to the local dealer as this seems to be the best way out. Hope this solution has been helpful? Thank you for visiting FixYa.
