Fisher paykel troubleshooting

Lights 1, 3 & 4 flashing implies it still full of water and won't continue the cycle because it hasn't pumped out the water. It's often caused by a blocked outlet hose at either the pump end or the sink end. Check the sink end first an ensure it clear but if not, empty out all the water, turn it upside down and remove the base cover. only about six screws. Unclip the hose at the pump end and ensure it's clear. Blow through it as hard as possible to test if the hose is clear. If this doesn't work, the pumps probably faulty and will need replacement. Unsure of the cost but it's nearly all plastic and very cheap looking!

What does E20 mean

The E20 error code indicates a problem with water drainage. Inspect the drainage hose for kinks that could impede the drainage flow. This frequently occurs when the machine is pushed up against the wall without allowing room for the hoses. If there are no kinks, the hose is probably clogged. Carefully detach the hose from the machine, and use a garden hose to force water through it. If the water doesn't pass through, use a plumber's snake to clear the clog. If there is no clog, inspect the drain pump for clogs. Unplug the machine, and open the small rectangular door towards the bottom of the front of the machine. Drain the pump through the emptying hose into a container until the water flow stops, and rotate the pump impeller to clear any foreign objects. Close the pump and restart the cycle. If the problem persists, contact a service center.

I have a hotpoint first edition wma11 which is not draining and water is still left in the drum when the cycle has finished. Any ideas as to what the cause of the problem is and how this can be...

first check outlet hose at sink end grease can build up on connection at trap under sink,if this is clear first dcoop out as much water from drum and lay outlet pipe flat into low basin to syphon water out ,when drained make sure the machine is isolated, take off lower back panel if you look in you will see black sump hose attached from bottom off drum to pump remove sump hose from drum by undoing clamp and insde is plastic float ball check to see if anything is blocked if clear re attach and remove pump take off pump housing (three screws) check if anything is in pump if clear change pump

Fisher & Paykel GW611 Excellence does not pump water out. All lights are on and when it is suppose to pump, you can hear the noise, but no water coming out of the hose!

It sounds like the drain pump or the diverter valve is restricted. Check to make sure that the drain hose is clear then disconnect power and lay the machine's front on a padded surface to access the drain pump and the diverter valve at the bottom of the tub. Remove the pump's inlet and outlet hoses then check and clear from any debris that may prevent water from draining out. Check the impeller for any damage or restriction.

Check the diverter valve for the same condition as the pump described above. T
he diverter valve is where the drain pump and the recirculation pump inlet hoses are attached from. Make sure the valve is in the drain position while the drain pump is working. Replace the drain pump and/or the diverter valve if deemed necessary.

Maytag neptune front load washing machine will not fully discharge water after the rinse cycle...HELP???

Check the drain hose and clear it from any debris that might be blocking the water from draining out completely. If the drain hose is clear of debris, check and clean the pump. Disconnect the machine from the power outlet before servicing for safety purposes.

Remove the rear access panel to access the pump and disconnect the wiring harness from the terminals of the drain pump and the pressure switch.

Loosen the clamps holding the drain hose and the tub hose to the pump assembly. It is a good idea to spread a towel under the pump before loosening the clamps.

Remove the hoses and rotate the pump assembly counterclockwise to release the pump assembly support legs from the keyed slot in the base of the washer. Remove the pump assembly from the washer.

Clear the pump impeller from any debris that might be causing it to work improperly. Clean the tub and the drain hose.

Reassemble the pump, the hoses, and reconnect the wires to the terminals of the pressure switch and the drain pump. Reinstall the rear access panel and run the machine.

Replace the pump (part #25001052) if water still do not drain out completely.

Remove the plastic bag covering the pressure switch. Press in the locking tabs on the back of the pressure switch and pivot the pressure switch off the pump bracket.

Grasp the pressure switch and lift the nipple of the pressure switch from the pump cap.

Install the pressure switch into the new pump assembly in reverse of the steps above.

Windshield wiper water

The washe pump is a known item that will fail, especially if the washer fluid froze one time. If the hoses are all clear, replace the washer pump motor.

First of all lay the drain hose into a bowl or bucket to drain off.
Then take off the plate at the back of your machine and you will see a pipe running from pump to drum.
Where it meets the drum there is a filter inside which you can check for debris. also take off at the pump and check inside pipe & pump.
Happy to help further if required.
Thankyou for using Fixya.
