SOURCE: flymo sabre hedge trimmer blades move but do not cut!

It sounds as if they have come off of the spindle inside and are not synchronised as they should be so the bottom blade is being pushed out of the way when trying to cut. You need to open up the head and unscrew the top to the small gearbox and make sure the bottom blade hasn't jumped up off of the catch point on the shaft.

My flymo sabre cut keeps cuttn out every time the cord moves

Apparently you have some wiring issues ,that can be caused by the cord being stretched away from the handle...it can be rewired near the handle by someone with electrical knowledge,,,,,,must be familiar with electicity because of the power going into it by a home source and the hazzard of using it in damp or moist grass. shock hazzard

I have a Flymo Sabre cordless hedgetrimmer, which has stopped cutting anything although the blades still move. What can I do to fix it?

If there are screws or bolts holding the blades together, check these are tight, but not tight enough that the blades can't move relative to each other. If the teeth aren't sharp, you can buy a small flat file to sharpen them. This is a tedious process and both cutting edges of each tooth need to be sharpened.

Can I get my Ryobi Hedgetrimmer blades sharpened or replaced ? Its only 2 years old and blunt already, it struggles to cut conifer and tears rather than cuts. I am not impressed.

If the blade set is bolted together, then a local repair shop should be able to sharpen them. Look for a shop that works on Echo or Stihl hedgers, as they can be sharpened. If the blade set is riveted together, then it must be replaced as a unit. You did not list the model or item number for your hedger, but try www.ereplacementparts.com or www.ordertree.com . Both sites will allow you to type in your model or item number to look up all the available parts.
Good luck!

Thihl HL75 hedge trimmer engine will not run at full speed

Remove the cutting attachment, insert a screwdriver in to the shaft receptor and it should operate smooth with a slight bit of friction. if not then check the blade bolts and make sure the blades move freely. Lubricate the blades and the gearbox regularly. If the attachment end is good then turn the driveshaft by hand (with attachment still off shaft). If this too moves freely then go to the clutch.
