Use the conference feature present in yahoo messenger and in msn ...for voice call and all of you will participate on the voice call ..and for video ..use the invite to see your webcam feature ..and each of you invite the others.. I'm not sure if Skype has conference mode..but usually all instant messaging programs have ..The procedure is one of you invite to conference the others..for audio ..and for video each one invite teh other s This way all will see and hear the talking ..
Must be a issue with the compatibility between yahoo messenger versions. It happens to me quite often with some contacts and the only workaround I could find to this was to open a Conference and invite the other person to join. This way they can hear me and I can hear them as well (You have to tick hands free in the conference window).
Go to www.Skype.com. It's a free service which gives you both video conference and IM chat capability. It's easy to setup. Both of you will have to downlaod and install it. Skype is owned by Ebay, so it's pretty reliable.
I have looked into this for quite some time...what if you get a lot more features in another software...!!!ooVoo is the software and you can use 6 people video conference with recording facility. The problem is Windows Live messanger has some technical issues when it comes to multiple video conferencing...hence ooVoo is for you.Download from here..http://oovoo.com/
there's a free version and trial version giving you full access for 30 days...no credit card required.
There are other softwares but they are cheap stuff...so I suggest you to go for this one.
Depending on what you installed when you put the disc into the computer would depend on your results. Normally to video conference you need to have the same program and both have cameras. With a program like Skype you could have the webcam and the other person could just talk to you without the cam if they didn't have one. Logitech has a control program that starts automatically when the computer starts up. Unfortunately it causes problems with the camera if you try and video conference with another video program. Make sure befor you start another video program you turn off the logitech control panel in the lower right of the windows bar by the clock. Good luck. RAC
