Question about HP Photosmart 8150 InkJet Printer
Had a paper jam, cleared that and something popped out. Black plastic docking thing that has a UPC label on the bottom with P/N 5064-4593
and AF Made in Hungary. I think it came out of the left side of the printer when you open it up. Window error message says: Cartridge Service Station is stuck. Press OK. I pressed OK and the ink cartridges move across to the left side and it makes a funny grinding sound and then they move back into place. Help...I need to print my grandsons birthday card.
I was having same problem but it was a paper jam all the time and then it started to state Cairrage Jam. And what was happening was the unit the cartridges sit in was not going all the way to the right. A little nudge and you could feel it move. Closed lid and sometimes it would print but eventually it would fail. Just replaced but I suspect if you can get to the cairrage you could clean/repair whatever was keeping it from going all the way to the right.
Hope that helps!

Well, what you want to do is you will see a wire coming from your cartridge, pull that wire (not hard) just so that way you can move the cartridge and you should be able to fix that problem.
