Question about Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
Just remove the screw, pop the brush off, and clean out the ick that's
built up underneath. When you put the brush back on, SNAP it on before
you screw it in, or it will fall right back off. If it still doesn't
turn, call customer support and let them know your module isn't working.
your belt is worn and stretched out.contact your local vacuum repair shop and they should have a spare.tell them the model#
This may have something to do with the brush. The bristles may be worn down and not touching the floor. Turn your vacuum cleaner upside down and run the long side of a ruler along the bottom of the vacuum cleaner head. If the bristles don't touch the ruler, replace the brush. Also, most brushes have a belt that turns it. Be sure the belt is not broken. Turn the brush by hand and make sure it turns easily. There may be a bunch of hair, string, whatever that is binding it up. Last, while you've got it upside down, turn the vacuum cleaner on and make sure the brush spins. Stand back when you do this!! It may throw a little rock or something at you. Then turn it right side up and listen to see that it keeps spinning.
