First play with the wire at the phone plug end and where it enters the ear housing;wires usually open up where they flex most. The next step requires access to the actual speaker connection inside the left housing. You'll need to disassemble it to get to the soldered connection.Use an ohmmeter to check for continuity to the phone plug end.Check both wires;signal and ground. If both show continuity,it's your speaker. The speaker should have a low resistance reading, not open. Also try another set of phones;if that doesn't work either,it's the source.

SOURCE: The Right side does not work.

i just bought the turtle beach x1's and had the same problem only it was the left side not the right and i was pushing the green audio connector cable to close together with the av componet connector and just slightly removed the audio cable from the av connector cable basically just slightly remove the headphones from the connection port on whatever you are connecting it to if that dosent work then most likely you have a lose connetion port on your device and will need to replace it or replace the device alltogether if the port can not be replaced.

Have Philips wireless headphones SBC HC 8445. Batteries appear to be charging and there is power. Works on left side but no sound on right side.

The speaker on the right side of the headphone is dead and shorted or might have lose wiring requiring repairing like resoldering or just tapping on the right on the right side it headphone might work.

Hi,,in most cases what causes one side of the headphone to work is because, the wire that is connected to speaker inside the headphone might have cut and it's not contacting properly.

What you will need to do is to open up the head phone (left),and check if the wire inside has not cut, If it has removed ,then you will need to put it back with soldering iron and a lead...

But if the wire inside has not removed and they are intact, then you will have to replace the left speaker .

Hope that helps...

If you use the headphone jack a lot and your missing the audio from the speaker and one channel from the headphone jack, then it's possible that some of the headphone jack connections have broken off of the PC board. The audio goes to the speaker through the headphone jack.

Please see this link for more info and read the section about the headphone jack.

AUDIO AMPLIFIER'S ONE CHANNEL DEAD

Hi there.
Check for shorted speaker wires on left channel. If not, disconnect speaker wires and check to see if headphone jack works. If left works, you may have a blown speaker. If left still doesn't work, left power amp blown.
Thanks

Headphone jack

try reseting it to factory settings. in other words recovery mode. to do this simply plug it into your computer. Next, puh the hold button until the orange is showing. Now you want to push AND hold down the record button AND the power button at the same time. after a few short seconds, a black screen should come up and say welcome to recovery mode. it may take a few tries to put it into recovery mode by the way. if this doesn't work you will have to take it to where you bought it becuase it's probably the headphone jack is most liley damaged. if it's damaged buy a new one cheap here. www.ebay.com If you need more resources about recovery mode or of you have more questions, here is a link to the sansa e200 series forums. http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/ i hope this helped you. : )
