Hold down the "display" button on the remote until the picture comes back. The manufacture phone number is 1-866-220-7116 for future reference. (Just in case) Thanks! //D

Burned dvd displays small image on tv screen

Dvds have many display formats.
If the screen is small on some, then press the "wide" button on your flat screen tv remote. It will offer you bigger screen format options.

Need instruction booklet for IBM ThinkPad

You may have accidentally pressed a certain combination of keys at the same time. Try a few of these suggestions to see if one 'unscrambles' your keyboard:

ctrl+shift+num lock key
fn+ num lock
ctrl + shift

If this helps anyone at all, please post back with your laptop make and model and which combo helped you!

How to connect my compaq v2148ap laptop to tv using svideo??plss help fast....i dnt have the vga wire i have the 7 pin wire!!

Do not use a cheap cable !
Use a good quality cable

You also need to tell your computer that it has another display available to it

to do this RIGHT click on a blank area of your desktop then select properties.
Now click settings If you can see TWO screens with the number 1 and 2 on you are already part way there

Now click Advanced.

If you see a tab that is for your graphics card select it

From here you should be able to tell your laptop to use multiple displays

You should select Clone (if you have dual-view available then select that)

You may have to lower the screen resolution at first and maybe even adjust the two displays individually

If there is an option for "detect my tv" that would also be a good starting point.

It does vary from card to card and even computer to computer for the exact steps.

With any luck you should now have two displays and it would be just a matter of making minor alterations to make the two displays suit your taste.

Be aware however that not all computers with Svideo may work with a regular tv. This process works best with flat screen lcd and plasma tvs

Digistar modal TK2055D(remote code)

Norcent, Liteon and Digistar are all pretty offbeat brands, so if you're looking for a universal remote that has pre-programmed codes for all of those devices you're likely to come up short.

Both your URC-9911 and the much superior 15-1994 are JP1 remotes, which means you could easily program both of them to work all of your devices using JP1.

JP1 info:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/

The URC-9911 is also upgradeable, so you also have the option of sending it back to OFA to have them add the codes that you need. In the event that they don't have a code for any of your devices, they would ask that you let them also borrow your original remote(s) so they can capture the signals and create codes for you.
