    Thanks for your response!!

Have you tried to reset the red button on the Power nozzle cover?

Have you gone through all the basic troubleshooting. If not, you could download the user's manual from :-

    http://www.rainbowsystem.com/rainbowsyst...

You need to have acrobat reader to view this.

Note - Your unit have 4 years warranty on this.Do not try to repair it yourself as it would VOID the warranty.

    Good Luck!!

    Thanks!!

Thanks, I will download the manual. The machine is more than four years old. I am trying to open it to find if motor has power, it may be could be a broken power cable inside.

    Thanks again

    Thanks for your response!!

That could be a case. Most of the times, it is either a cracked or broken wire.

There are a couple of models under this series. Look at the schematic :-

    http://www.elkypro.com/hoops2005/vacuum_...

There is a safety switch on all E series and E2 series Rainbow vacuums,
that keep it from running without the water basin on it.

One other thing. All E series vacuums have a built in circuit breaker on
the motor. Some of the earlier ones, it was only a fuse, and if it
blew, it had to be replaced, or removed and wired directly without it on
there. Most of them have a automatic reseting curcuit breaker, that
will blow and auto reset its self, after it cools off. They do sometimes
stay blown also, and do not reset. If that is the case, it has to also
be replaced, or removed, and wired directly, with out it on there.

    Motor
brushes are usually the source of a non working E-2 vacuums and when
they burn out, they usually take the motor armature with them, from
excessive heat and flare electrical arking to the armature.

    Good Luck!!

    Thanks!!

Microwave doesn't heat or turntable doesn't turn

Check the door switches as they are in series with the magnetron power supply which is also the power feed for the turntable.

The turntable on my hotpoint gold series won't go around, but you can still hear the motor

Check to see if the glass is fitting properly on the motor slots. Sometimes they can work loose - which will make it not turn. Good luck!

My Sylvania micro/convec oven was installed in my RV last year but has never worked correctly. It runs long after the beeping ends and the glass sometimes gets a rainbow haze across the glass. Is this...

With this oven being a combi ventilation and extraction is important, the haze across the plate is
surplus heat, It not cooking but what you hear is the extraction fan running until the oven cavity has cooled down

Frigidaire Professional series microwave won't heat

The most likely problem is the magnetron. Check your warranty in owners manual, I believe you have five year warranty on magnetron.

My microwave says "child" and won't play anymore

Not sure of the TT series models but for the NN series models the procedure is as follows:-

If "Child" is displayed in the display window, then the child safety lock is on.

To remove the child safey lock, press the "Stop/Reset" button 3 times in fairly short succession (less than 3 seconds). The time of day or just the Colon sign (:) is then displayed

If you later want to apply the Child safety lock, then, when the time of day (or colon sign) is displayed, press "Start" 3 times (again in short succession).

Hope this helps

Is there a recall on Sharp Carousel Microwave R-530 LW series. I have one and it is so loud when I turn it on. It is like something is loose inside and rattling.

We had an R-240 or R-250. I can't tell you which because the other night while not in use it caught our kitchen on fire. It was just plugged in and not in use. The insurance guy said that this can happen. Maybe don't buy the R series from Sharp. Or keep it unplugged when not in use.
