It would depend on how the cartridge was inserted as most ink cartridges have a chip on it and they do not like being handled or you are using third party inks which one may be faulty.
Try purchasing (if you can another ink) to see if that resolves the issue.
I suggest to go to printer properties by right clicking on printer name and go to colour management and check the settings. If it still does not work. Try to uninstall printer drivers and reinstall from the disk provided. If still not resolved please reply me on [email protected]
The best cartridge for your printer, quite naturally, will be compatible
with the printer model. The best inks are those of HP ink cartridges
-this lowers the chance of smearing and clogging. Most printer
manufacturers, however, have begun to make cartridges that are
compatible with most HP inkjet printers, so the quality
of printing is always top notch. When selecting a new cartridge, user
must always be aware of what type of printer he is using. Remember, the
best cartridge should always be compatible with the printer.
You might have solved this issue by now, but same thing happened to me and I simply removed the cartridges and any of the leftover orange debris on each indivdual ink cartridge from those removable tabs might cause your issue. I scraped it off and the first time I reinserted the cartridges the issue was solved
Not sure what happen to this but I had the same problem. What you need to do is highlight each one except the first HP Photosmart 4100 series, and delete all the other ones.
So delete the following 6 printers.
Send to One Note 2007 Microsoft XPS Document Writer HP Photosmart C4100 series (copy 1) HP --------------------" ------" (copy 2) HP....................................(copy 3) AND HP ..................................(copy 4) which is the only one that works!!!!!
Now the one that is left should be the default. Do a test page or print something out to make sure.
I inserted new black ink cartrige. Changed setting to black print only. Color cartridges are low but should be ok if only printing in black. However, it will not print. It is a Brother 420CN.
